I was wondering given the power of the device does anyone have a good N64 setting they have found to work well.
Also anyway to get the JoyStick working for the N64 or even, in general, any other console?

try searching on google typing the version of the N64 settings.

N64 is hit and miss even on more powerful devices like raspberry3 you'll get better performance in games like Super Mario 64 , Mario Kart with the gles2n64 plugin, change at the runcommand dialog right after you launch the game joystick is working fine in my unit, did you install the latest image for the joystick version
