SSD mounting and ext4

This question has been asked before I think, so apologies, but if I format the SSD to ext4 will I need to mount it? Or will it be auto recognised?

I think you would need to add a line to /etc/fstab or /etc/rc.local. Automount works only inside armbian desktop , IIRC

Yea, deffo needed, successful mounted, but cannot find it when FTP in, do I need to add in another line?

FTP or SAMBA? i cant figure how it wouldnt be detected
run FTP over SSH instead (SFTP) pointing to /

the only advantage of FAT32 is the native support in Windows
