Where to find the startup script?
#1
On the ssh login, I get a bunch of helpful information about my retrostone 2.
I am trying to figure out where is the startup script for this.

Can someone help me with this?

/etc/update-motd.d

check https://askubuntu.com/questions/105689/h...td-updated

there is an answer on how to update: you can force with 'sudo run-parts /etc/update-motd.d/'

Thanks for the quick reply!

Is the battery percentage given here reliable? I mean, is it accurate?

i dont remember if i tweaked those scripts back in the day. Probably not.
judging from http://retrorangepi.download/forum/showt...p?tid=3503, Retrostone battery info is retrieved from /sys/class/power_supply/axp20x-battery/capacity

no worries if it is not, just wanted to know your opinion of it

As the Retrostone2 image is based on mainline kernel, i think it is accurate most of the time, depending on the battery condition
